Rushlows Arabians

Our facility is full service, providing body clipping, farrier work, hauling, bathing, and other required services to ready the horses for the show ring.  All of our horses are stabled together at a show and we provide full grooming and maintenance services to everyone that shows with us.  Coaching and training services are available as well.

While at times intense, our barn's atmosphere at shows is one of camaraderie, support, and encouragement for everyone that is participating.  At Rushlow's there four main reasons why we like to show horses: 1 - It provides a means for measuring one's success; 2 - Provides an opportunity for all to learn by watching others; 3 - Healthy environment for goal-oriented people to measure individual progress; and 4 - Allows people to socialize and learn from others who share a common passion for horses.  Our philosophy of having fun while putting forth a 110% effort while showing has resulted in our barn having  the pleasure of producing a number of U.S. National winners in Halter, Hunt Seat, and Side Saddle.

It pleases us to know that most of our riders, including some of the National winners,  start out with us by participating in the Day Camps or taking the occasional lesson.  Proof that our programs and philosophies do produce winners both in and out of the show ring.

Rushlow's Arabians participates in a number of horse shows throughout each year.  The majority are Class A, Regional or National Arabian shows both within and outside of Michigan. Show Season typically starts in early May and concludes with the U.S. Arabian National Horse Show in October of each year.  An average year has our barn participating in approximately 10 shows, one of which is the Ohio Buckeye in Columbus, Ohio.  We also participate in the Region 13 show in Indianapolis and both Youth and U.S. National Shows.
